PM Kisan Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana for financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, a total financial assistance of Rs 6000 is given to eligible farmers every year. Farmers are given 3 installments of Rs 2000-2000 at an interval of 4-4 months. These money given by the central government comes directly into the bank account of the farmers. Under the PM Kisan Yojana, it is mandatory for registered farmers to get OTP based e-KYC. If a farmer has e-KYC pending, then money will not come to his bank account.

How to do e-KYC for PM farmer
PM farmer’s official website – https://pmkisan.gov.in/ Go to Click on the E-KYC written in a large box of yellow colored under the Farmers Corner to the right. Now enter your Aadhaar number and click on Search. After clicking on search, an OTP will come on your Aadhaar registered number. Put OTP and click on the Submit button. Your e-KYC will be completed as soon as you click on the Submit button.
