The central government has made it mandatory for farmers to do it under PM Kisan Yojana. Earlier, the last date was fixed as March 31, but its last date has been extended to May 31, 2022 (PM Kisan Yojana eKYC). Due to which the farmers have got relief, but the government has temporarily stopped the facility of conducting eKYC on its own. At the same time, it is not clear when the 11th installment will be received.
The facility of e-KYC given earlier in the Farmer’s Corner on the portal of PM Kisan Yojana has been removed. It has been said on the portal that OTP and Aadhaar based verification has been temporarily discontinued. With its removal, e-KYC cannot be done manually. But farmers will have to compulsorily do e-KYC. But it cannot be done through the portal as of now.
Then where to do e-KYC
Since the closure of OTP and Aadhaar based authentication, one will have to visit the nearest CSC centers for biometric authentication. There you have to go with Aadhaar and your mobile number. After this your KYC process will be completed.
Why e-KYC is necessary
The government has started the process of e-KYC to prevent fraud in PM Kisan Yojana. Under which it is mandatory for all registered farmers to do e-KYC. For this reason, this process will have to be done to keep getting the installment of PM Kisan Yojana.
Will have to wait now for the 11th installment
After the extension of the last date for getting KYC done, the big question regarding the 11th installment is that when will the 11th installment of PM Kisan Yojana come in the account. Regarding which information has not come from the government side. At the same time, no information has been given in the status of the farmers. In such a situation, it can be assumed that under PM Kisan Yojana, farmers will have to wait a little longer.
