German Chancellor and my friend Olaf Scholz has come to India for the fourth time. His coming here after first serving as Mayor and thrice as Chancellor shows his focus on India-Germany relations. During this, PM Modi said that this is the right time to join India’s development story.

Modi said, when India’s dynamism meets Germany’s precision, when Germany’s engineering and India’s innovation meet and when Germany’s technology and India’s talent meet, it will ensure a better future for the world including the Indo-Pacific. Is. Modi told the people present at the conference that you are all in the business world and your mantra is ‘when we meet, we mean business’. But coming to India is not just business. If you do not give time to Indian culture, delicious food and shopping, you will miss many things, I assure you, this will make you happy and your family will be more happy when you go back home.

The Prime Minister said, this year is the 25th year of India-Germany Strategic Partnership. The coming 25 years are going to take this partnership to new heights. We have created a roadmap for a developed India in the coming 25 years. Today, on one hand, there are hundreds of German companies in India, while on the other hand, Indian companies are also increasing their presence in Germany. Modi said, Germany has decided to increase the number of visas for skilled Indians every year from 20 thousand to 90 thousand. I am confident that this will give a new impetus to Germany’s development.

PM said, the people of India give great importance to a stable polity and predictable policy ecosystem. This is the reason why after 60 years a government has got a chance for the third consecutive time. India stands on four strong pillars of Democracy, Demography, Demand and Data. Talent, Technology, Innovation and Infrastructure are the tools of India’s development. To drive all this, India has a strong force – AI – Aspirational India and Artificial Intelligence – this dual force is in India. India is working on the needs of the future world.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the world of the 21st century is such where progress is a question for which we have to work. If Russia succeeds in its illegal and brutal war against Ukraine, the consequences will extend beyond Europe’s borders, endangering global security and prosperity as a whole. Let us do everything we can to bring about political solutions to these conflicts that are based on the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.
