New Delhi, 11 June (IANS). Former Secretary in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Bhupinder Singh Bhalla said that the idea of connecting PM Surya Ghar-Muk Power Scheme with speed power scheme was given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a post done by a handle called Modi Story on social media platform ‘X’, Bhupinder Singh Bhalla said that I have met Prime Minister Narendra Modi many times. Once we met PM Modi regarding the execution of PM Surya Ghar-Muk and electricity scheme.
In this, we were telling in a presentation that some type of technology etc. will be used and how someone will find out how much electricity can be produced through a solar panel on his roof.
He further said that during this presentation, the PM said that we can combine it with speed power. This was an aspect that we never thought about.
By doing this, the information of PM Surya Ghar-Muk power scheme can be used for the good of the society through the National Technology Platform Motion Street.
A recent report stated that government initiatives like PM Surya Ghar Free Power Scheme have been helpful in accelerating the development of renewable energy sector. This is also helping people to save. By 2030, this scheme will be very helpful in achieving a renewable energy capacity of 500 GW.
Ashutosh, the beneficiary of this scheme to the news agency IANS, said that the government is also giving exemption in PM Surya Ghar Yojana. During the two months, there has been a savings of about 10 thousand rupees, meaning electricity bill has been saved so much.
