Bajaj Finserv shares boom
Share Market Closing 17th March, 2025: The Indian stock market closed with a gain of about 0.50 per cent on Monday. Today the BSE Sensex closed at 74,169.95 points with a gain of 341.04 points (0.46%). While NSE’s Nifty 50 index closed at 22,508.75 points with a gain of 111.55 points (0.5%). Let us tell you that at one time, the Sensex reached 74,376.35 points and the Nifty reached the Intrade High of 22,577.00 points. However, it declined when the selling dominated the shares.
Bajaj Finserv shares boom
On Monday, 20 out of 30 companies’ shares of Sensex closed in green mark and 10 companies closed in red mark with losses. On the other hand, the shares of 33 out of 50 of Nifty 50 closed in green mark rapidly and the remaining 17 companies closed in red mark with losses. Today, Bajaj Finserv’s shares, one of the Sensex companies, closed the highest 3.59 per cent, while ITC shares closed down by 0.98 per cent.
Shares of Mahindra, Axis Bank, Adani Ports also gain
Among the rest of the Sensex companies today, Mahindra & Mahindra shares 2.41 percent, Axis Bank 2.31 percent, Bajaj Finance 1.90 percent, Adani Ports 1.63 percent, Zomato 1.54 percent, ICICI Bank 1.45 percent, sunforma 1.26 percent, sunforma 1.26 percent, Ultrachec Cement 1.07 per cent, Tata Motors 0.85 percent, Indussee Bank Steel closed with a gain of 0.63 percent, Infosys 0.62 percent, HCL Tech 0.58 percent. On the other hand, Nestle India shares fell 0.76 percent, Reliance Industries 0.56 percent, State Bank of India 0.54 percent, Asian Paints 0.40 percent, TCS 0.35 percent, Powergrid 0.19 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.18 percent, Larsen & Tubro 0.17 percent and Tubro closed with 0.09 percent declines with 0.09 percent.
