Reliance Jio Q2 Results: Reliance Jio Infocomm has released its results for the quarter ending September 2024. Jio’s net profit increased 23.4% year-on-year to ₹6,539 crore in the September quarter. At the same time, the company’s quarter-to-quarter (QoQ) net profit has increased by 14.76% in the September quarter. It rose to Rs 6,539 crore from Rs 5,698 crore in Q1FY25. During the quarter ending September, the revenue of this company of Mukesh Ambani has increased by 18% on an annual basis. At the same time, it increased by 7.67% quarter on quarter to Rs 31,709 crore. Let us tell you that it was Rs 29,449 crore in Q1FY25.
Jio’s ARPU increased to ₹195.1
Jio’s average revenue per user (ARPU) increased to ₹195.1 in the September quarter on the back of tariff hike and better subscriber mix. It is up 7.4% year-on-year and sequentially from Rs 181.7. Let us tell you that the full impact of the tariff increase will be visible in the next 2-3 quarters. Jio’s total data and voice traffic in the second quarter grew 24% year-on-year to 45 billion GB and 6.4% to 1.42 trillion minutes.

According to the company’s statement, not even two years have passed since the launch of Jio True 5G in the September quarter, but it has become the largest 5G operator in the world except China. Jio True 5G customers have increased to 14 crore 70 lakh. Q2 FY2024-25 Jio Air Fiber customers are also increasing rapidly. By September 2024, Jio Air Fiber has reached 28 lakh homes. This is the fastest growth of its kind in the world in terms of home connections.
