Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) said on Friday that its net profit increased by 2.4 per cent to Rs 19,407 crore in the March quarter of FY 2024-25. The company said its retail and oil business improved in the January-March quarter. Earlier, analysts estimated that the company’s oil business could see lethargy due to global pressure, but the results have been different. In the information given to the stock market, RIL said that its integrated net profit in the January-March 2025 quarter was Rs 19,407 crore i.e. Rs 14.34 per share. In the same period of a year earlier, the figure was Rs 18,951 crore, or Rs 14 per share.

Increase in abitda

Reliance, the country’s largest company in terms of market capitalization, earned a profit of Rs 18,540 crore in the October-December quarter of FY 2024-25. At the same time, the company’s operational revenue has increased to Rs 2.6 lakh crore. Whereas in January-March 2024 it was Rs 2.4 lakh crore. In the fourth quarter, the company’s EBITDA increased 3.6 per cent to Rs 48,737 crore on an annual basis. It was Rs 47,050 crore in the same period of a year ago. In the fourth quarter, the company’s EBITDA margin was 16.9 per share. It is a year ago 17.8 to 0.90 to 0.90 base points.

Jio’s profit increased by 25.7%

The net profit of Jio platforms, digital unit of Reliance Industries Limited, increased by 25.7 percent to Rs 7,022 crore in the January-March quarter of the last financial year. The company said that its profit increased mainly due to increasing average revenue per user. The company recorded a net profit of Rs 5,587 crore a year ago in the same period. The average revenue of Jio platforms rose by 13.5 percent to Rs 206.2 during the March quarter, which was Rs 181.7 in the March 2024 quarter.

Share condition

Reliance Industries stock closed down on Friday. The company’s stock closed at Rs 1300 at Rs 1300, or Rs 1.60, on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The 52 week high of this stock is Rs 1608.95. At the same time, 52 weeks are Rs 1115.55. The company’s market cap is Rs 17,59,276.14 crore.
