The net profit of Reliance Retail Venture Limited (RRVL), the retail business unit of Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited, was Rs 3,545 crore in the January-March quarter of the previous financial year (2024-25) to Rs 3,545 crore. During this period, the company’s total revenue rose by 15.65 percent to Rs 88,620 crore. Its total revenue for the last financial year increased by 7.85 per cent to Rs 3,30,870 crore and the net profit increased by 11.33 per cent to Rs 12,388 crore.
16.3% increased operational income
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) said in a information to the stock market on Friday that its total revenue was Rs 76,627 crore in the same quarter of 2023-24. While the net profit was Rs 2,746 crore. Reliance Retail’s operational income increased by 16.3 per cent to Rs 78,622 crore in the March quarter, which was Rs 67,610 crore in the same quarter of a year ago. Ebitda of the country’s leading retail company also increased by 14.3 percent to Rs 6,711 crore in the March quarter of FY 2024-25.
Open 2,659 new stores
Reliance Retail continued to increase the number of stores and opened 2,659 new stores in FY 2024-25. RIL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Mukesh Ambani said, “The retail sector has also recorded continuous growth. In the last financial year we focused on strategic reorganization of the store network, which aims to improve operational capacity and long -term stability.” In the last financial year, the registered customer base of Reliance Retail rose 14.8 percent to 34.9 crore. During this period, the total transaction increased by 10.6 percent to 1.39 billion. Reliance Retail opened 1,085 new stores in the March quarter and recorded a total of 36.1 crore transactions with 16.1 percent increase.
