Petrol Diesel Price Today: New rates of petrol and diesel have been released. This Monday was also a relief. Whereas, oil prices are not less than a disaster for the people of Sri Lanka. Recently, Indian Oil’s subsidiary Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) had made petrol 50 and diesel costlier by Rs 75 in one stroke.

Now Sri Lanka’s state-run oil and gas company Ceylon Petroleum has also increased the prices of petrol and diesel. Ceylon Petroleum has increased the price of petrol by Rs 77 per liter and diesel by Rs 55 per liter. Now the price of petrol here is Rs 254 per liter and that of diesel is Rs 214 per liter.
Despite crude oil crossing $110 per barrel and BJP’s victory in four states, the relief in petrol and diesel rates remains intact. On Monday, the price of one liter of petrol in the country’s capital Delhi remains at Rs 95.41 (Delhi Petrol Price), while the price of diesel is Rs 86.67 (Delhi Diesel Price). Whereas in Mumbai, petrol is being sold at the rate of Rs 109.98 per liter, while diesel is being sold at Rs 94.14.
According to the new rate, even today the cheapest petrol in the country is being sold in Port Blair at Rs 82.96 per liter, while diesel is also being sold here at Rs 77.13 per liter. Petrol is beyond 100 in Bhapal, Jaipur, Patna, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore.

Contrary to the apprehensions, there was relief even on the 7th day of the end of the elections. Domestically, there was no change in the price of petrol and diesel even after 129 consecutive days today. However, in the meantime, crude oil has also come down to $110.31 against $140 per barrel.
