After other companies including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, now Renault India has also announced an increase in the prices of its cars from April 2025 to 2 percent. According to PTI news, the company said in a statement that the increase limit will be different for different variants and models. Renault India said that the increase in prices has been decided in view of the ever -increasing input costs, which the company has been bearing for a long time.

According to the news, Renault Country CEO and MD Venkataram Mamilapalle said that despite our best efforts to maintain prolonged prices, the continuous increase in input costs has made this price adjustment necessary. She said that the company has long been bearing these costs to support customers, but to continue providing the best quality and unique products, the price modification has become indispensable.
Decision to increase in a long time
The automaker said that this is the first price increase declared by Renault India since February 2023. Earlier, various car manufacturers, including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Kia India and Honda Cars, have already announced a plan to increase vehicle prices from next month citing rising input costs. Obviously, the car buyer is going to increase the weight from next month.
Renault sells other cars including Tribes, Kigar and Kwid in India. In the coming time, some new models of Renault will knock in the Indian auto market. These will be Arkana, Bigster, New Kiger and Kardian.
