French car company Renault has launched a new version of its entry level car Kwid. Its starting showroom price is Rs 4.49 lakh. The vehicle is available with 0.8L and 1L petrol engines in both manual and automatic transmission options. The company said in a statement on Monday that under the Kwid My22 Climber variant, the customer will get a choice of new colors. The company said that this model complies with all the security requirements of the Indian market. The company has claimed that the Kwid 0.8 liter car can run 22.25 km in a liter of petrol in the ARAI test.
When was Renault Kwid first launched? Renault Kwid was launched in India in 2015 and more than 4 lakh units of it were sold by the company. In an effort to maintain the popularity of the hatchback car, Renault has launched the base variant of the Kwid MY22 Climber in India for Rs 4.49 lakh. This means that the entry-level Kwid RXE variant will now cost Rs 24,500 more than the old Kwid.
Color options of Renault Kwid MY22 Climber – The new Kwid Climber range will be available in white accents, new dual-tone flex wheels, and new color options – Metal Mustard with Black Roof, Ice Cool White with Black Roof, Moonlight Silver and Zanskar Blue color options. The French carmaker has also launched a new Kwid RXL(O) variant of the Kwid.
Features of Renault Kwid MY22 Climber – The new Kwid will get Android Auto Car Play, voice recognition, silver streak LED DRLs light, reverse parking camera and electrically adjustable outside mirrors. Along with this, the new Kwid will get 8-inch touchscreen, power windows, fully digital instrument cluster, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, AC, reverse sensor, seat belt and speed alert system.

Engine of Renault Kwid MY22 Climber – Renault has not made any changes in the engine of the Kwid 2022, this car will be available in two petrol engines as before. In which 0.8 liter petrol engine which will generate 53 bhp power and 72 Nm torque and will be available with 5 speed gearbox. In the second option, a 1.0-liter petrol engine that will generate 67 bhp power and 91Nm torque will also be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Along with this, the customer will also get the option of Easy-R AMT gearbox in both these engines.
