Market cap of Jio Financial Services reaches Rs 2.2 lakh crore
RIL 47th AGM: The 47th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries Limited, the country’s largest company in terms of market cap, has begun today. The country’s richest person and the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani is addressing more than 35 lakh shareholders of the company through video conferencing. Bonus shares may be announced for shareholders
Making a big announcement for shareholders, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that bonus shares can be announced in the ratio of 1:1 on September 5, 2024. Mukesh Ambani said that the consolidated turnover of the company in the financial year 2024 was Rs 10,00,122 crore. With this, Reliance Industries has become the first company in India to cross the revenue of Rs 10 lakh crore. Reliance has cumulatively invested Rs 5.28 lakh crore in the last 3 years.
Reliance provided 1.7 lakh new jobs last year
Reliance Industries has consistently been in the list of the country’s largest employers. Reliance provided 1.7 lakh new jobs last year. With this, the total number of employees of Reliance Industries has increased to around 6.5 lakh. Mukesh Ambani said that the market cap of Jio Financial Services has increased to around Rs 2.2 lakh crore.
India became the world’s largest data market
Today India has become the world’s largest data market. Jio, which was launched in 2016, has increased its share in global mobile traffic to 8 percent. Jio’s data price is only one-fourth of the global average. Within just 8 years, Reliance Jio has become the world’s largest mobile data company. Today Jio has a total of 490 million customers. Mukesh Ambani said that each Jio customer uses an average of 30 GB of data every month.
Jio becomes the world’s largest digital home service provider company
Not only this, the number of Jio’s home customers has increased tremendously and it has reached close to 30 million. Due to which Jio has become the world’s largest digital home service provider company. He said that with every recharge and bill payment, the trust of customers on Jio is increasing. Mukesh Ambani expressed his gratitude to all the customers of Jio.
More than 13 crore customers connected with Jio 5G within 2 years
Jio has joined the list of the world’s most advanced 5G networks. Within 2 years, more than 13 crore customers have joined Jio 5G. Not only this, within just 100 days, more than 10 lakh customers have adopted Jio Air Fiber. He said that Jio has set a target of providing Air Fiber to 10 lakh homes every month. Mukesh Ambani said that if Jio grows at this speed, then they will soon reach 10 crore homes with home broadband.
