New Delhi, 1 June (IANS). The PM Swanidhi Yojana completed five years on Sunday. The scheme has promoted large -scale self -employment in the country and inspired women to start their own business.
Today we are going to tell you the success story of Sapna Prajapati, the woman of Kota, who has got the benefit of this scheme.
In the video posted on X from a social media account called ‘Modi Story’, Sapna Prajapati told how the PM Swanidhi Yojana realized her dream.
He said that from the very beginning, I thought I should do some employment using my education and knowledge, but the work that had started earlier due to the Corona crisis had to be stopped. Then I came to know about the online PM Swanidhi Yojana. I filled the form of this scheme and after a few days the loan was approved.
Prajapati further explained that I bought a sewing machine from the loan money. During the Korona period I felt that something should be done under ‘Wocal for Local’.
After this we made some samples of masks, which were given in the municipal corporation and some government departments.
He further said that after this we got an order of Rs 16 lakh for making PPE kit, mask and hospital bedsheet. To complete this work, I added about 40 local women.
He mentioned the discussion with Prime Minister Modi and said that it has had a very positive effect on his life.
He said that the Prime Minister asked him about his background and he (PM Modi) liked him very well that I gave employment to a lot of women in preparing masks during the Korona period.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs launched the Prime Minister’s Street Vendors Atmibar Nidhi (PM Self -Ridhi) scheme on 1 June 2020. The objective of this scheme is to facilitate working capital loan without any guarantee to resume their businesses in the Kovid-19 epidemic.
