The market closed with a big gain on Tuesday
Share Market Opening 4th December, 2024: The Indian stock market again started trading in the green today with a rise. On Wednesday, BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 190.47 points at 81,036.22 points. NSE’s Nifty 50 index also opened with a rise of 31.6 points at 24,488.75 points. Let us tell you that on Tuesday also the stock market started trading in the green and closed with a good bounce. Yesterday, Sensex closed at 80,845.75 points with a gain of 597.67 points and Nifty closed at 24,457.15 points with a gain of 181.10 points.
Shares of 22 out of 30 Sensex companies rose
On the third day of the week, shares of 22 out of 30 Sensex companies started trading in the green with profits, while 7 companies started trading in the red with losses. Similarly, the shares of 34 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 opened in the green mark with a rise and the shares of the remaining 16 companies opened in the red mark with a fall. Shares of Titan, included in the Sensex companies, opened without any change.
Adani Ports shares gained the most
Adani Ports shares opened with the highest gain of 1.16 percent for Sensex today. Apart from this, shares of UltraTech Cement 0.84 percent, Sun Pharma 0.74 percent, Tata Motors 0.67 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.66 percent, HDFC Bank 0.61 percent, Asian Paints 0.61 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.54 percent, IndusInd Bank 0.47 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.46 percent, TCS 0.43 percent, NTPC 0.41 per cent, Bharti Airtel 0.33 per cent, Tata Steel 0.31 per cent, Reliance Industries 0.27 per cent, Axis Bank 0.25 per cent, ITC 0.24 per cent, Nestle India 0.19 per cent, JSW Steel 0.11 per cent, Bajaj Finance 0.11 per cent, Hindustan Unilever 0.07 per cent and State of India Bank shares of 0.05 percent Open with an edge.
Stocks of these companies opened with a decline
On the other hand, shares of Mahindra & Mahindra opened today with maximum fall of 0.54 percent. Shares of Infosys opened down by 0.24 per cent, HCL Tech by 0.23 per cent, PowerGrid by 0.12 per cent, ICICI Bank by 0.05 per cent, Tech Mahindra by 0.03 per cent and Larsen & Toubro by 0.01 per cent.
