Sensex 271 and Nifty closed down by 75 points, heavy losses in these shares

Share Market Closing 19th May, 2025: On Monday, the Indian stock market saw a lot of ups and downs and finally the market closed in red mark with losses. On the first day of the week, the BSE Sensex closed at 82,059.42 points with a decline of 271.17 points (0.33%). Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 24,945.45 points with a loss of 74.95 points (0.30%). Let us tell you that today the market has recorded a decline for the second consecutive day. Earlier, the market was closed in red mark on Friday last week. On Friday, the Sensex fell by 200.15 points to 82,330.59 points and the Nifty closed at 25,019.80 points with a drop of 50 42.30 points.

Autonal decline in Eaterial shares

The shares of 11 out of 30 of the Sensex of Sensex closed in the green mark and the remaining 19 companies’ shares closed in the red mark. Similarly, the shares of 16 out of 50 of Nifty 50 closed with an increase in green mark and the remaining 34 companies’ shares closed in red mark with losses. Powergrid’s shares, one of the Sensex companies on Friday, closed down 1.27 percent and the most of the stocks of Arternart closed down by 2.99 percent.

These shares including Bajaj Finance, NTPC closed in green mark

Apart from these, today, Bajaj Finance shares included 0.91 percent, NTPC 0.64 percent, State Bank of India 0.39 percent, IndusInd Bank 0.22 percent, HDFC Bank 0.17 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.16 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.16 percent, Bajaj Finner 0.14 percent, ITC 0.14 percent, ITC 0.09 percent, Hindustan Unileer 0.09 percent, Hindustan Unileer 0.09 percent and Tata Say Closed with a gain of 0.03 percent.

Big fall in IT stocks

On the other hand, on Monday, Infosys shares 1.92 percent, TCS 1.20 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.19 percent, Reliance Industries 1.03 percent, Asian Paints 0.98 percent, HCL Tech 0.66 percent, Adani Ports 0.61 percent, Titan 0.48 percent, Axis Bank 0.41 percent, Axis Bank 0.41 percent, Larsen and Tuber 0.33 percent, Percentage, Nesley India 0.29 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.26 percent, ICICI Bank 0.25 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.23 percent, Tata Motors 0.21 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.09 percent and Kotak Mahindra Bank shares closed down 0.05 percent.
