6.75 lakh Made in India vehicles created by veteran automobile company Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) are furring in more than 26 countries of the world. Savwipl said on Wednesday that the Mumbai Port Authority has honored the company as’ Top Exporter ‘2023-24’ for a tremendous contribution in the export sector. Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited has exported a record 6,75,000 ‘Made in India’ cars in the last 20 years. The automobile company said that according to the ‘Make in India’ initiative of the Government of India, the company has played an important role in making the country a major automobile export center. ,
Caries sent to more than 26 countries in Asia, Africa and North America
Skoda Auto Volkswagen India said that the group has so far exported over 6,75,000 vehicles, showing its commitment to engineering and manufacturing excellence. The company said Savwipl exported over 43,000 locally manufactured vehicles in FY 2023-24, sent to more than 26 countries in Asia, Africa and North America. While on one hand Volkswagen’s portfolio has new generation cars from veteran vehicles like polo and vento to vertus and tigun. On the other hand, the portfolio of Skoda has new generation cars like Kushak, Slavia and Kyloc.

We are committed to strengthening India’s role in the global automobile industry.” Let us tell you that Skoda Auto India sold a total of 7422 vehicles in March 2025. The company completing 25 years of its operations in India said that the sales recorded in March are the highest monthly sales so far.
