Business News Desk – Great action was seen in the domestic stock markets on Tuesday. There was a good rise in the market for the third consecutive day. Sensex had reached above 80,800. Nifty also appeared above 24,400. Bank Nifty also showed good growth and reached near 52,700. After seeing good momentum, the market closed near the day’s high. Nifty closed 181 points higher at 24,457. Sensex closed 597 points higher at 80,845 and Nifty Bank closed 586 points higher at 52,695. Once again business is seeing a slight increase. However, the markets have still not completely entered the bullish zone.

Today the market had shown a strong start. Sensex showed a gain of 125 points around 80,362. Nifty showed a gain of 60 points above 24,300. Bank Nifty also showed a rise of 280 points near 52,400. In the opening, the Sensex opened at 80,529, up 281 points compared to yesterday’s closing. Nifty opened 81 points higher at 24,367. Whereas Bank Nifty opened 248 points higher at 52,357. Good buying was seen in the midcap index. The index had risen 330 points. The biggest gains were recorded in metal, realty and banking stocks. Shriram Finance, ONGC, JSW Steel, HDFC Bank, SBI Life were the biggest gainers on Nifty.

The biggest decline was seen in ITC, Titan, ICICI Bank, Power Grid, Sun Pharma. Good signals were received from global markets in the morning. Greenery was seen especially in Asian markets. Nikkei jumped by 500 points. There was a slightly mixed trend in the American markets yesterday. US markets started December at life highs.

Nasdaq jumped 185 points to reach a record high and S&P also made a new peak but due to profit-booking the Dow closed down 125 points. In the morning, Dow futures saw a fall of about 50 points. Due to strong dollar in the commodity market, gold remained slightly soft at $2660 and silver remained flat at $31. At the same time, in the domestic market, gold fell by Rs 500 to close at 76700 and silver fell by Rs 300 to close at 90800. Crude oil remained sluggish below $72.
