Business News Desk – The ongoing rise in the stock market for the last 2 days came to a halt on Tuesday i.e. 26th November. Sensex fell by 105 points. Whereas Nifty closed below 24,200. Experts say that due to the absence of any new trigger, the market traded in a range today. However, a slight increase was seen in the broader market, due to which investors made a profit of about Rs 24,000 crore from the stock market today. The BSE midcap index closed with a gain of 0.10 per cent, while the smallcap index closed with a gain of 0.62 per cent. During today’s trading, there was a rise in IT, telecom and metal shares. Selling was seen in utility, auto, power, oil and gas and pharma stocks. At the end of trading, BSE Sensex closed at 80,004.06 with a fall of 105.79 points or 0.13 percent. At the same time, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty slipped 27.40 points or 0.11 percent and closed at 24,194.50.

Investors earned ₹24,000 crore
The total market capitalization of BSE listed companies increased to Rs 439.82 lakh crore today on November 26, which was Rs 439.58 lakh crore on its previous trading day i.e. Monday November 25. In this way, today the market cap of companies listed on BSE has increased by about Rs 24,000 crore. Or in other words, the wealth of investors has increased by about Rs 24,000 crore.

5 highest rising stocks of Sensex
Out of 30 shares of BSE Sensex, 14 closed with a green mark i.e. a rise. In this, the maximum rise of 1.79 percent was seen in the shares of Asian Paints. After this, shares of Infosys, JSW Steel, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) closed with gains ranging from 0.60 per cent to 1.73 per cent.

Sensex’s 5 biggest losers
At the same time, the remaining 16 Sensex stocks closed with a decline today. In this, UltraTech Cement’s share was the biggest loser with a fall of 3.07 percent. At the same time, shares of Adani Ports, Sun Pharma, NTPC and Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) saw a decline ranging from 1.87 percent to 3 percent. There was a rise in 2,279 shares
The number of shares closing with gains on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) today was high. A total of 4,031 shares were traded on the exchange today. Of these, 2,279 shares closed with gains. While 1,643 shares declined. While 109 shares closed flat without any movement. Apart from this, 215 shares touched their new 52-week high during trading today. While 53 shares touched their new 52-week low.
