Stock market news: Investors have lost Rs 11.22 lakh crore amid the ongoing fall in the stock markets for the last three trading days. The 30-share Sensex of BSE closed 105.82 points lower at 54,364.85 points on Tuesday. Earlier on Monday and last Friday also the market had closed with a loss. In these three days, the Sensex has lost a total of 1,337.38 points or 2.40 percent.

This fall has also had an impact on the capitalization of the stock markets. The market capitalization of companies listed on BSE has reduced by Rs 11,22,389.2 crore in these three trading days. At present, the capitalization of BSE listed companies stands at Rs 2,48,42,500.17 crore.

Siddharth Khemka, Head of Retail Research, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited said, “The market is witnessing volatility. Factors like rising interest rates, fears of slowing economic growth and strict lockdown in China are affecting the market.
