The Indian stock market opened with a slight fall on Thursday and was seen trading flat in early trade. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened today with a slight fall of 54 points at 77,636. In early trade it was seen trading at 77,782 with a gain of 0.09 percent or 93 points. Out of 30 Sensex shares, 14 shares were on the green mark and 16 shares were on the red mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 23,580 with a gain of 0.09 percent or 21 points. In early trading, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 25 shares were seen trading on the green mark and 25 shares were seen trading on the red mark.
There was a rise in these shares
Among the Nifty pack shares, the biggest rise was seen in Eicher Motors by 7.01 per cent, HCL Tech by 1.60 per cent, Hindalco by 1.18 per cent, Asian Paint by 0.66 per cent and Adani Enterprises by 0.62 per cent. At the same time, the biggest decline was seen in UltraTech Cement by 2 percent, Shriram Finance by 1.22 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 1.19 percent, HUL by 1.01 percent and BPCL by 0.95 percent.
Situation of sectoral indices
Talking about sectoral indices, the biggest rise today was in Nifty Media by 1.83 percent, Nifty Bank by 0.61 percent, Nifty Auto by 0.15 percent, Nifty Financial Services by 0.51 percent, Nifty IT by 0.56 percent, Nifty Metal by 0.54 percent, Nifty Pharma 0.13 percent in Nifty PSU Bank, 0.92 percent in Nifty PSU Bank Percent, Nifty Private Bank saw a rise of 0.56 percent, Nifty Realty saw a rise of 0.74 percent, Nifty Consumer Durables saw a rise of 0.21 percent, Nifty Oil & Gas saw a rise of 0.09 percent and Nifty Midsmall Healthcare saw a rise of 0.65 percent.
