Market opened with slight gains
Share Market Opening 29th October, 2024: The Indian stock market has once again opened in the green today. The stock market opened with a very slight gain on Tuesday. On the second day of the week, on the occasion of Dhanteras, BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 32.16 points at 80,037.20 points while NSE Nifty 50 opened with a gain of only 77.75 points at 24,328.85 points.
Shares of 20 Sensex companies opened in the green.
In early trading today, shares of 20 out of 30 Sensex companies opened in the green and shares of the remaining 10 companies opened in the red. While shares of 32 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 opened in green mark and shares of 14 companies opened in red mark while shares of 4 companies opened with no change.
The stock market closed in the green on Monday
Let us tell you that there was a lot of ups and downs in the stock market on Monday. Yesterday, after a long time, it happened that the stock market opened in the green and also closed in the green. Earlier, the market was following the same pattern after opening in the green and closing in the red with a big fall.
Highest increase in NTPC shares
Today on Tuesday, NTPC shares opened with the highest gain of 2.01 percent for Sensex. Apart from this, Sun Pharma 1.02 percent, Axis Bank 0.79 percent, Tata Motors 0.71 percent, Asian Paints 0.63 percent, JSW Steel 0.60 percent, ICICI Bank 0.57 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.57 percent, State Bank of India 0.56 percent, IndusInd Bank 0.52 percent, Adani Ports. The shares opened with a gain of 0.52 percent.
Apart from these, shares of Tata Steel, Titan, Nestle India, ITC, Bajaj Finance, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech also opened with gains. Whereas shares of Reliance Industries and Kotak Mahindra Bank opened with no change.
Big fall in Infosys
On the other hand, Infosys shares opened with maximum decline of 1.03 percent. Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra fell 0.76 percent, HDFC Bank 0.53 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.35 percent, Larsen & Toubro 0.31 percent, TCS 0.07 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.02 percent, PowerGrid 0.02 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.02 percent and Bajaj Finserv 0.01 percent.
