The Indian stock market opened with gains today on Wednesday. Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex opened today at 81,954 with a gain of 320 points. In early trade, Sensex was seen trading at 81,813 with a gain of 0.23 percent or 178 points. Out of 30 Sensex shares, 19 shares were seen trading on the green mark and 11 shares were seen trading on the red mark. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty was seen trading at 25,058 with a gain of 0.18 percent or 45 points. In early trading, out of 50 shares of Nifty, 28 shares were seen trading on the green mark and 22 shares were seen trading on the red mark.

There was a rise in these shares

Among the Nifty pack stocks, the highest rise was seen in BPCL by 2.88 per cent, Tata Motors by 1.98 per cent, Shriram Finance by 1.92 per cent, Tech Mahindra by 1.34 per cent and Asian Paint by 1.32 per cent. At the same time, the maximum decline was seen in ONGC by 1.47 percent, Nestle India by 0.97 percent, Britannia by 0.78 percent, Hindalco by 0.64 percent and JSW Steel by 0.64 percent.

Situation of sectoral indices

Talking about sectoral indices, the biggest rise on Wednesday was in Nifty Healthcare index by 1.15 per cent, Nifty Pharma by 1.11 per cent, Nifty Midsmall Healthcare by 0.94 per cent, Nifty Oil and Gas by 0.22 per cent, Nifty Consumer Durables by 0.72 per cent, Nifty Healthcare index 1.15 percent in Nifty Realty, 0.83 percent in Nifty PSU Bank, 0.87 percent in Nifty Media, 0.92 percent in Nifty IT, 0.66 percent in Nifty Financial Services, 0.56 percent in Nifty Auto and 0.11 percent in Nifty Bank. Apart from this, a decline of 0.02 percent was seen in Nifty Private Bank, 0.35 percent in Nifty Metal and 0.10 percent in Nifty FMCG.
