Doha, 18 June (IANS). Tata Motors launched its new LPO 1622 bus in Qatar on Wednesday, strengthening its presence in the Middle East market.
According to a statement by the company, the company’s first euro VI-compliance bus in the Middle East provides better performance, comfortable passenger experience and low cost of ownership in the Middle East.
The Tata LPO 1622 bus is powered by a reliable Cummins ISBE 5.6L Euro VI-compliance engine, providing 220 hp power and 925 Nm of torque.
Just two seating configurations are available in 65-seater and 61-seater, providing flexibility for various employee transport requirements.
It has a full air dual-circuit braking system with ABS, tubeless radial tires, a heavy-duty suspension system to ensure safety, comfort and road stability.
Just comes with several advanced features such as electronic stability control, hill start assist, cruise control, multimize switch for optimize performance in different operating conditions.

Tata Motors also introduced a range of heavy trucks of Prima Range with the world-smart, Euro-V compliance, designed and engineered by the country’s developed infrastructure and construction requirements.
This range includes Advanced Prima 4040.K, Prima 4440.S, Prima 4040.T and Prima 6040.S.
Tata Motors offers a detailed portfolio of commercial vehicles in more than 40 countries, including cargo vehicles ranging from 1 ton to 60 tons and mass mobility solution ranging from 9 seater to 71 seater.
