Lucknow, May 21 (IANS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday held a courtesy call to Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran at his residence. The meeting was focused on the industrial development, investment promotion and future strategies of the state, in which there was an intensive discussion about making the state a perfect destination for investors from India and abroad.
The meeting discussed the progress of the proposed ‘Temple Architecture Museum’ project, especially in Ayodhya, which will not only work to cherish religious and cultural heritage, but will also give a new height to the tourism sector of the state. Additionally, the Jewar Airport Project was reviewed, which is about to bring revolutionary changes in the economic and commercial development of eastern Uttar Pradesh. Air India’s possible MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaling) facility was also detailed talks, which will strengthen the development of the aviation service sector in the state and create thousands of employment opportunities.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the Tata Group’s comprehensive investment activities in the state and reiterated his determination to ensure better industrial environment for investors, continuous improvement and facilitated administration. He asked Tata Sons to give further detail to his investment in the state and especially set up a Global Captive Center in Lucknow. This step will increase high technical and skill -based employment opportunities in the state, which will lead to skill development of youth and promotes economic empowerment.
N Chandrasekaran praised the industry-interest policy decisions of the Uttar Pradesh government, the development of infrastructure, and the rapidly made positive ecosystem for investment. He assured that the Tata group will actively cooperate with the state government to make Uttar Pradesh a major center for investment. He also mentioned that the state’s major role will be ensured in the upcoming projects of Tata Sons. This partnership between the Chief Minister and the Tata Sons will not only strengthen local industries, but will also speed up employment generation and socio-economic development.
