In his address, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma appreciated the efforts being made to bring more transparency and professionalism to the lottery sector by giving it an end-to-end digital touch. He said, ‘I am happy to launch India’s first fully digital lottery platform EasyLottery.in.’ The CM also spoke on illegal betting apps, saying, ‘Today many Indians are wasting their time on apps like online games and illegal betting.’ He said on this lottery that lottery does not compromise with the fun of a person. It has been brought to benefit the society only. There is no risk of any kind of loss from EasyLottery. Unlike online games and illegal betting, it works to keep people together and not to break them.
What is online lottery?
Usually, lottery can be bought at any shop, market, bus stand, post office, service center. Its price can be Rs 100 or more. But the Meghalaya government has decided to start it online. In this, you can apply by visiting the digital lottery platform EasyLottery.in.
