Investment in large-caps, midcap and small-cap

Investment in large-cap funds in February was ₹ 2,866 crore, which is less than ₹ 3,063.3 crore in the previous month. The small-cap fund made an investment of ₹ 3,722.5 crore, which is less than ₹ 5,721 crore in the previous month. The midcap fund made an investment of ₹ 3,407 crore, which is less than ₹ 5,148 crore last month. Hybrid funds invested Rs 6,804 crore in January as compared to Rs 8,767.5 crore. Liquid funds made an investment of Rs 4,977 crore, which is much lower than Rs 91,593 crore in January.

Investment in ETF increases rapidly

Investment in ETF increased from ₹ 1,172 crore to ₹ 3,846 crore. Credit Risk Fund invested ₹ 198 crore, while in January it was ₹ 294 crore. ELSS funds made an investment of ₹ 615 crore, which is less than ₹ 797 crore. The total management assets (AUMs) under the Mutual Fund House were ₹ 64.53 lakh crore, which is less than ₹ 67.25 lakh crore in January. The corporate bond funds made an investment of ₹ 1,065 crore, which is reversed with an investment of ₹ 217.4 crore. Dividend funds invested ₹ 68.7 crore, which is less than ₹ 215 crore.

Sluggish also in new fund offer

The new fund offer (NFO) invested ₹ 4,029 crore, compared to ₹ 4,544 crore last month. An investment of ₹ 1,980 crore was recorded in Gold ETF, which is less than ₹ 3,751.4 crore. Sectoral and themetic funds invested ₹ 5,711.6 crore, which is less than ₹ 9,016.6 crore in January.
