The market closed in red on the last day of the week
Share Market Closing 13th Sep, 2024: The Indian stock market, which closed with a rapid rise on Thursday, traded in the red mark from beginning to end on Friday. On the last day of the week, on Friday, the BSE Sensex closed at 82,890.94 points with a decline of 71.77 points and the Nifty closed at 25,356.50 points with a loss of 32.40 points. Let us tell you that on Thursday there was a strong rise in the domestic stock market. Yesterday the Sensex closed at 82,962.71 points with a gain of 1439.55 points and the NSE Nifty closed at 25,388.90 points with a gain of 470.45 points.
Shares of 19 Sensex and 32 Nifty companies fell
Today, on Friday, out of 30 Sensex companies, 11 stocks closed in the green and 19 in the red. Out of 50 Nifty 50 companies, 18 stocks closed with gains and 32 stocks closed with losses.
Strong jump in Bajaj Finserv shares
On Friday, among the Sensex companies, Bajaj Finserv shares closed with the highest gain of 2.36 percent. Apart from this, Bajaj Finance closed with a gain of 2.25 percent, Indusind Bank 1.18 percent, Tata Steel shares closed with a gain of 1.02 percent. Other stocks that closed in the green include Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, HCL Tech, State Bank of India, Nestle India and TCS.
Big fall in Adani Ports shares
Shares of Adani Ports listed in Sensex suffered the biggest loss today. Shares of Adani Ports closed with a decline of 1.38 percent today. Apart from this, ITC closed with a loss of 1.15 percent, Bharti Airtel closed with a loss of 0.88 percent. Along with these, shares of NTPC, Maruti Suzuki, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma, Power Grid, Hindustan Unilever, Larsen & Toubro, Infosys, Reliance Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, JSW Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, HDFC Bank and Titan also suffered losses.
