Mahanagar Gas Limited Dividend: Government gas distribution company Mahanagar Gas Limited has announced dividend for its shareholders. Metropolitan Gas stated in an exchange filing of January 28 that the company’s board has announced the interim dividend. The company said that shareholders will be given a dividend of Rs 12 on each share with a face value of Rs 10. Metropolitan gas has also fixed a record date for payment of this interim dividend. If an investor has to take advantage of dividend, he will have to buy shares before the market is closed on 31 January. The company said that within the date of announcement (28 January) to 1 month i.e. from February 28, the money of dividend will be sent to the bank account of shareholders.
