According to the information available on the BSE website, RailTel Corporation has received a work order worth Rs 134.46 crore from the Advanced Smart Metering Infrastructure Project. This order is to be completed by September 2034. The company is continuously receiving orders and its order book is strong.
Railtel’s order book 4800 crores
Earlier on September 26, the company had received a work order worth Rs 156 crore from the Rural Development Department. Before that, an order worth Rs 48.7 crore was received from Health India Insurance. The company was also given Navratna status in the month of August. In the presentation made before the investors, the company said that its order book is worth Rs 4800 crore. The company is running with a revenue target of Rs 2000 crore in the financial year 2025.
