Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini’s government is planning to provide 100 yard plots to two lakh eligible beneficiaries under the ‘Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana’. The state government has prepared the blueprint of this scheme.
Eligible applicants will get benefits
According to an official statement, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the dream of two lakh people of Haryana of having their own house is going to come true soon. Under this scheme, those eligible people who do not have their own land will get benefits. Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries will be given a plot of 100 yards in rural areas.

Five lakh people have applied under this scheme.
In the first phase, plots will be allotted to two lakh people.
Beneficiaries will get a plot of 100 yards so that they can build their own houses.
Financial assistance under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
The government also plans to provide financial assistance for building houses on 100-yard plots, the statement said. This help will be given under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). Necessary guidelines have been issued for the implementation of the scheme after holding a meeting with the officials of the Housing for All department. He said that the objective of Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana is to benefit those low income group families of the state who do not have their own houses.
The lifestyle of poor families will improve
Ganesh said that the objective of the scheme is to make poor families self-reliant, so that they can live a safe and dignified life in their homes. He directed the officials to expedite all the processes, so that the eligible beneficiaries can get the benefits soon.
All facilities will be available around the plot
The Chief Minister recently held a meeting with senior officials and issued instructions. Where plots of 100 yards will be allotted, all necessary facilities should be available. These include paved roads, electricity, clean drinking water, street lights, parks and green open spaces.
