Tim Cook praised Warren Buffett, his knowledge inspired countless people

New Delhi, 4 May (IANS). Tim Cook, CEO of the world’s legendary technology Apple, praised Warren Buffett on Sunday and said his knowledge inspired countless people.

Cook told the social media platform X how the knowledge of Buffett has inspired countless persons including him and said that it is a great good fortune to know him personally.

Cook said in a social media post, “A person like Warren has never happened before and countless people, which I am included, have been inspired by their knowledge. Knowing them has been the greatest fortune of my life and there is no doubt that Warren is leaving Berkshire in good hands like Greg.”

94 -year -old veteran investor Buffett has decided to step down the post of CEO of Berkshire Hathaway at the annual meeting. He led the institution for nearly 60 years and made it a $ 1.16 trillion company.

Buffett’s successor will be Greg Abel, who is currently the Vice Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway’s non-insurance business.

Abel had long been seen as a potential successor, yet this announcement was a surprise for him as well.
