Business News Desk – The Indian stock market opened with a decline due to poor signals in the first trading session of the week. On Monday, the Sensex opened at 76,673.48, down 705.43 points or 0.91%. Nifty opened at 23,213.80, down 217.70 points or 0.93%. Nifty Bank opened at 48,271.10, down 463.05 points or 0.95%. The rupee also opened at a record low against the dollar. For the first time the rupee opened below 86 against the dollar. IndusInd Bank, Shriram Finance, Axis Bank and Britannia Industries topped the list of fastest moving stocks of Nifty during early trading on Monday. At the same time, BPCL, Hindalco Industries, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors and Apollo Hospitals were included in the list of weakest stocks of Nifty. They saw a decline of 1.93% to 2.3% during early trade.
