Airline company is increasing its presence from Kodasare
IndiGo, the country’s largest airline, said on Thursday that its partnership with Turkish Airlines gives many benefits to Indian travelers and the country’s economy. The airline company said that this partnership improves connectivity and also makes international travel more economical. IndiGo’s comment has come at a time when there is a demand to boycott Turkey, who is supporting Pakistan and sending drones to use India in an attack. Boycott of Turkish goods and travel across the country. Some online travel platforms and groups have also issued advice to people not to go to Türkiye.
IndiGo referred to bilateral air service agreement
Currently, IndiGo Turkish operates direct flight to Istanbul with two planes hired from Airlines. Apart from this, it also provides Kodashare seats in more than 40 places in Europe and America. Under the Kodeshare Partnership, the airline can book its passengers on its partner airline and the ticket remains the same. An Indigo official told PTI that the air travel released between India and Turkey should be seen in the context of bilateral air service agreement (ASA) and the overall construction of international air services from India.
The company operates 14-14 flights every week from India to Türkiye and Turkey
Under the air service agreement, Türkiye and India’s airlines have been allowed to operate a total of 56 flights every week between the two countries. Domestic airlines operate 14–14 flights every week from India to Türkiye and Türkiye to India. Turkish airlines are also allowed for the operation of the same flights. Indigo official said that partnership with Turkish Airlines gives many benefits to the Indian travelers and the country’s economy.

Along with this, the official said, “The Kodasare partnership has enabled IndiGo to make its presence in the long -range markets in Europe and America, which has laid the foundation of self -reliance.” IndiGo has more than 400 planes fleet and operates about 2200 flights daily. The airline connects over 90 domestic and more than 40 international destinations. It has 10 Kodashare partnership.
