New Delhi. With the aim of providing all the basic necessities to the citizens of the country and making their life simple and easy, the government keeps running many schemes from time to time. One of those schemes is ‘Ayushman Bharat Card Scheme’. Under this scheme, the Government of India has started a campaign to provide health insurance financially to overcome the major health problems of the poor and backward families of the country. Eligible and interested candidates can register by applying online by visiting the official website of Ayushman Bharat to take advantage of this scheme. This scheme was started by PM Narendra Modi in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh on 14th April 2018 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar ji and implemented across the country on 25th September 2018 on the occasion of birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay ji. Went. Under the PM Ayushman Bharat Card Scheme, the central government provides health insurance assistance of Rs 5,00,000 annually to the poor families of the country. This scheme is also known as ‘Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana’. Under the PMJAY scheme, free treatment facilities are provided to the beneficiaries in government / empaneled hospitals and private health centers. About 1350 diseases have been covered in the Ayushman Bharat scheme, due to which the affected people can take advantage of the health facilities provided by the government.

Eligibility to take advantage of this scheme-
1. The beneficiaries of this scheme can be those people who have a kutcha house and the head of their family is a woman.
2. In whose family there is no adult male of 18-59 years, such families are eligible to make Ayushman card.
3. Handicraft workers, sweepers/sweepers, tailors, shopkeepers, rickshaw pullers, etc. can be the beneficiaries of this scheme.
4.Significantly, under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Card Scheme, CAPF Health Insurance Scheme has been started for the personnel posted in the police force.
How to register?
Step-1. To register PMJAY online, first you have to go to its official website.
Step-2. After that go to the home page and click on the registration option.
Step-3. After this fill your mobile number, Aadhar card number and other information asked. After that click on submit option.
Step-4. Here you will see the terms and conditions related to this scheme. Tick the I Agree Check present here.
Step-5. After this an OTP will come on your mobile number. Enter it and click on Validate option.
Step-6. After this a notification box will open, where you have to click on OK.
Step-7. On clicking OK, you will get your self registration form.
