The budget will begin on Saturday, 1 February 2025 at 11 am. Every year on the day of the general budget, Nirmala Sitharaman is also in the discussion about her fashion statement. Their saris are also special on this occasion. They wear traditional and handloom saris, which have deep importance. From 2019 to 2024, their saris trend on social media in every budget. This is Nirmala Sitharaman’s collection of sarees

1. Mangalgiri Sari of Andhra Pradesh

In the year 2024-25, Nirmala Sitharaman wore a beautiful off-white Mangalgiri saree with the Magenta border on the budget day. It is a saree in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, which is famous for its simplicity.

2. West Bengal Blue Kantha Sili Saree

The saree was worn by Nirmala Sitharaman on the interim budget of 2024. This saree had a lot of discussion on social media. This saree was designed with patterns like kantha stitching and flowers. The saree was designed to display the skills of Bengali artisans.

3. Red silk and gold limit

In the year 2023, Nirmala Sitharaman wore a dark red saree. This sari also made a lot of headlines. The sari had chariots, peacock and lotus designs on the black and golden border. Which is a symbol of architectural heritage.

4. Odisha’s Bomkai Sari

In the year 2022, Nirmala Sitharaman wore a Bomkai saree in Odisha. The color of this saree was brown, with maroon and white colored edge. Sitharaman wore this saree to show her appreciation to the artisans.

5. Telangana to Pochampalli

It is a traditional sari of Telangana, which is woven with hands. This mixed design of red and off-white depicts development. In the year 2021, Nirmala showed the path of development to the country by wearing this saree.
