Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary spoke to the importance of entrepreneurship and the work to be done in this direction in the future at the country’s largest startup gathering, “Startup Mahakumbh”. In India’s rapidly changing entrepreneurship atmosphere, Jayant Chaudhary explained how entrepreneurship is not just a skill, but a mentality; Its idea should be put in the minds of children from a young age.
Jayant Chaudhary said that it is necessary to take risks for entrepreneurship. If you think of avoiding risk then it is better to do a job, but if you dream of providing employment, you have to develop the ability to take risks. Your first plan will not make you a millionaire, it is part of the learning process.
On the question of becoming a leader, Chaudhary also discussed whether the leaders are born or they are made. He told that he comes from a political family, but the leaders are formed by struggle, patience and flexibility. Every person should learn how to accept defeat and move forward despite difficulties.
Jayant Chaudhary, while mentioning the National Education Policy 2020, said that through this policy, a new course is being prepared to train children in India towards entrepreneurship. Experience -based education and technical skills are now being given importance in the Indian education system, so that children are not limited only to the knowledge of books, but they have an understanding of working in the real world.
He said that various national standards have been prepared under government schemes in the field of skill development, which will ensure that students not only get technical skills, but are also ready to work in organizations. Many initiatives are being taken to increase the number of jobbers in the country, and this is an important step towards creating a new India.
Chaudhary, while mentioning Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Standup India’ campaign, said that PM Modi’s vision is that we have to create a nation where people are not standing for employment, but to provide employment. He also talked about the changes in the startup sector and the rapidly growing technological innovations and said that now the younger generation is becoming more self -sufficient and creative.
Talking about the need for change in the education system in the end, he said that it is now necessary that we develop a new thinking from schools to universities, so that students should not only get knowledge of books, but also understand practical knowledge and innovation. He called upon all entrepreneurs to return to their institutions and join the students, as today’s children have the ability to become future future leaders and entrepreneurs.
