UP BUDGET 2025-26: Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh presented the state budget on Thursday. This was the 9th budget of the Yogi government. State Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented a budget of Rs ₹ 8,08,736 lakh crore in the assembly for FY 2025-26, which is 9.8 percent more than the budget of 2024-25. Big announcements made in UP budget
The UP government will construct 4 new expressway for the facilities of the people of the state. Interest free loan will be given to the youth of the state. Provision of Rs 150 crore for Banke Bihari Corridor. 58 smart cities will be built in Uttar Pradesh. Scooty will be given to the meritorious girl students of the state. The parikrama path will be constructed in Vindhyachal. Provision of free irrigation for farmers will be provided 92,000 new jobs in the state. Provision of Rs 100 crore for electric buses in the state. Rs 100 crore allocated for Chief Minister Saksham Nutrition Scheme. Provision of Rs 400 crore for State Road Transport Corporation. Provision of Rs 365 crore for minority student scholarship. Allocation of Rs 2825 crore for OBC scholarship. 125 crore rupees will be spent to increase tourism in Mathura. The basic needs of the poorest family of each gram panchayat will be met.
Government’s special focus on health care
Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said in his budget speech for FY 2025-26 that Government and Private Sector in Uttar Pradesh is 11,800 seats of MBBS in separate Medical College/ Medical Institute/ University and 3971 of Masters (PG) in Medical Education (PG) Seats are available, which is being benefited by medical students. He said in the budget speech that the Uttar Pradesh government has taken several effective steps to provide quality and cheap medical facilities to the people of the state.
