A man claiming to be Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, a fake virtual court room and fake documents that looked exactly like the original were part of a vicious conspiracy through which SP Oswal was trapped and Rs 7 crore was defrauded. Vardhaman Group’s Chairman and Managing Director SP Oswal was placed in digital custody on August 28 and 29 and a total of Rs 7 crore was transferred from him to multiple accounts. The police took immediate action and froze many of these accounts and till now an amount of more than Rs 5 crore has been recovered. when the first call came
According to a report by NDTV, SP Oswal said that he received a call on September 28 (Saturday). In this he was told that if he did not press number 9, his phone would be disconnected. After this, when he pressed number 9, he was told that the call was made from Colaba office of CBI. This person gave Oswal a phone number and said that someone had taken this number in his name and was misusing it. Oswal was informed about an account in his name in Canara Bank. When he said that he did not have any such bank account, the alleged CBI officer said that this account was in his name and some financial irregularities were found in the transactions of this account.
Connection with Naresh Goyal!
Oswal told that after this these people connected him through a video call. He claimed that the financial irregularities for which the bank account in his name was used were linked to the case against Naresh Goyal. Let us tell you that Naresh Goyal is the former chairman of Jet Airways who was arrested last year on charges of money laundering. Oswal told that they said that he was also a suspect in this case. On this Oswal said that neither this account is his nor does he know Naresh Goyal. On this the fraudsters said that this account was opened through their Aadhaar details. On this, Oswal said that he had traveled by Jet Airways, so it is possible that he might have shared his information with the airline.
The callers told Oswal that he was also a suspect till the investigation of the case was completed and till then he would have to remain in digital custody. The fraudsters told Oswal that they would try to save him and in return he would have to cooperate fully. During the video call, a person identified himself as Rahul Gupta and identified himself as the chief investigating officer. He sent the rules of surveillance to Oswal. The number of these rules was around 70. He also asked Oswal to write a letter requesting a priority investigation.

On this Oswal told him that he does not remember everything, but he can tell all this by talking to the manager. But, the criminals said that this matter is under the National Privacy Act, so he cannot talk about it to anyone. He also said that if he does this then he can be jailed for 3 to 5 years.
Fake court, fake CJI!
Oswal told that the people who came posing as investigating officers were in civil dress and were wearing ID cards. There was an office-like section at the back, in which the Indian flag was visible. During the video call, he was also shown a fake courtroom. Not only this, a person claiming to be the Chief Justice of the country DY Chandrachud heard the case and also passed the order. This order was sent to Oswal through WhatsApp. Based on this, he was asked to transfer Rs 7 crore to different bank accounts. Oswal was also issued a fake arrest warrant bearing the monogram of the Enforcement Directorate and the seal of the ED and Mumbai Police. It is worth noting that the original arrest warrant issued by ED does not have the seal of Mumbai Police. Apart from this, the document which was sent to him as an order of the Supreme Court, also had three revenue stamps, the seal of the apex court and the seal of the Bar Association. It also had bar codes and digital signatures, which are also on the original Supreme Court order.
