New Delhi. Parag Desai, a well-known name in the world of tea and executive director of Gujarat Tea Processors and Packers Limited, is no more. He has passed away. It is being told that Parag Desai, famous for Wagh Bakri Chai, was bitten by a wild dog outside his house, due to which he was seriously injured. He also had a head injury. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital but today he died. It is also being said that Parag suffered brain hemorrhage after the injury, due to which he died. Let us tell you that Parag Desai said goodbye to the world at the age of 49.

Dogs attacked on 15th October
According to the report of Ahmedabad Mirror, Desai was attacked by some wild dogs outside his house on October 15 and during that time he suffered serious head injury. After being admitted to the hospital, doctors told that he had suffered brain hemorrhage, after which he died.
Rajya Sabha member Shakti Singh Gohil expressed grief
After the news came out, everyone is expressing grief. Gujarat Congress chief and Rajya Sabha member Shakti Singh Gohil expressed grief over Parag’s demise and also wrote a post on social media. He wrote on Twitter – It is very sad to know that Parag Desai, director and owner of Wagh Bakri Tea is no more. He was injured after a fall and died due to brain hemorrhage. May his soul rest in peace. My condolences are with his family. It is being said that Desai’s last rites will be held today at Thaltej crematorium.

Let us tell you that Wagh Bakri Tea Group was founded by Rasesh Desai, after which Desai and his cousins were handling this business for a long time. Now after Parag’s departure, his wife Vidisha and daughter Parisha are going through this grief. Talking about Parag’s education, he has done MBA, that too from Long Island University, USA. He was holding this post for the last 30 years. Desai looked after sales and marketing in the company and Wagh was the executive director of Bakri Group. During Desai’s tenure, the company’s turnover has been more than Rs 1,500 crore. He played an important role in taking the company forward.
