Delhi to Prayagraj Flights: Air India will temporarily operate daily flights between the national capital Delhi and Prayagraj to meet the huge demand for air travel for Mahakumbh. The airline said in a statement on Tuesday that it will operate daily flights on this route from January 25 to February 28. The flights will have economy and premium economy class seats. “With convenient timings i.e. daytime departures in both directions, these flights will provide passengers traveling to different parts of the country as well as several countries in North America, Europe, Australia and South-East Asia from Delhi,” the statement said. The routes provide uninterrupted connectivity.”
These airlines have also started flight service
At present, regular services of Air India and Air India Express connecting Prayagraj do not operate. Last month, SpiceJet had announced that it would operate special daily flights connecting Prayagraj with Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad for the Maha Kumbh Mela. These services will be available from January 12 to February 28. IndiGo and Akasa Air also operate flights to Prayagraj from various cities.
This flight is from Chandigarh to Prayagraj
Alliance Air has started direct flight service from Chandigarh to Prayagraj. This service has started from 13 January. This flight is leaving from Chandigarh every Monday and will return to Chandigarh from Prayagraj every Wednesday. The fare for this flight is between Rs 8000 to Rs 10,000. This flight departs from Chandigarh every Monday at 4.30 pm and reaches Prayagraj at 6.44 pm. The return flight will depart from Prayagraj every Wednesday at 5.15 pm and reach Chandigarh at 7.25 pm.
