Talking about important big investments, Tata Steel has made an investment of Rs 2600 crore in the secondary steel sector of Ludhiana. Nabha Power (L&T) has invested Rs 641 crore in the power sector of Patiala. Sanatan Polycott has invested Rs 1600 crore in Man Made Fiber sector in Fatehgarh Sahib.

Japan’s Toppan Group has made an investment of Rs 548 crore in the packaging sector. Apart from this, Ruchhira Papers Limited in Rupnagar won Rs 1137 crore, Ambuja Cements in Hoshiarpur Rs 1400 crore, Nestle India in Moga Rs 583 crore, Happy Forgeing Limited Rs 438 crore in Ludhiana, Dras Engineering Private Limited 194 in Hoshiarpur Crore rupees and Freedenburg Group has invested Rs 338 crore in Rupnagar.
