Kisan Credit Card
Kisan Credit Card or KCC is one of the most popular schemes among farmers. KCC scheme was introduced in the year 1998 with the aim of simplifying the loan process for farmers. In this, farmers are given loans for agricultural purposes. In this scheme, loans are provided to farmers at a very affordable interest rate of 4%. The minimum age for the applicant in this scheme is 18 years and there is no maximum age limit. A maximum loan of up to Rs 3 lakh can be taken under this scheme. Maximum loan tenure is 5 years. The validity of Kisan Credit Card is also 5 years.
Earlier in KCC loans, guarantee was required for loans above Rs 1.60 lakh. Now recently RBI has increased the limit of guarantee free loan to Rs 2 lakh. That means you will get a loan up to Rs 2 lakh without any guarantee.
How to apply for KCC loan?
Step 1. Go to the website of the bank from which you want to apply for Kisan Credit Card Scheme.
Step 2. Here you select Kisan Credit Card from the list of options.
Step 3. Now on clicking Apply the website will take you to the application page.
Step 4. Fill the form with required details and click on submit.
Step 5. Now you will get an application reference number. If you are eligible for the scheme, the bank will contact you in 3 to 4 working days.

1. Application Form
2. Two passport size photographs
3.ID proof like- Driving License / Aadhar Card / Voter ID Card / Passport
4. Address proof like- Driving License, Aadhar Card
5. Proof of land duly certified by revenue authorities
6. Crop Pattern (Crops Grown)
7. Security documents for loans above Rs 2 lakh
