Navratna Shares: On August 30, the Finance Ministry has given ‘Navratna’ status to 4 PSU companies. These 4 companies are Railtel, SJVN, Solar Energy Corporation and NHPC. Out of these companies, 3 companies are listed in the stock market. These 3 companies are Railtel, SJVN and NHPC. Today, the shares of these companies have seen a rise.

1- Railtel shares rose by 5 percent

The company’s shares opened higher at Rs 510.10 on the BSE today as compared to Friday. The company’s intra-day high was successful in reaching Rs 515.60 with a gain of 5 percent. However, the stock prices have again seen a decline. During the last one month, the company’s share prices have seen a gain of more than 100 percent.

2- SJVN Ltd.

The company’s shares opened at Rs 139.65 today. The company’s intra-day high reached Rs 140 with a gain of 5 percent. The stock was in the zone of Rs 136 at 10.30 minutes. The combined stake of the government and LIC in the company is more than 81 percent. The central government and the Himachal government have a stake in this company.

3. NHPC

Today, the company’s shares opened at Rs 96.20 on BSE. The company’s shares once again crossed Rs 100. The company’s intra-day high was Rs 100.50 with a gain of 4.46 percent. The 52-week high of this PSU stock is Rs 118.45 and the 52-week low is Rs 48.48. The market cap of this company is Rs 98,220.35.

The company’s share prices have seen a 94 percent increase in the last one year. The total share of the government along with LIC in this company is 67.40 percent.
