Special Namaaz of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi
Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of Prophet Mohammad. This festival has religious and cultural significance, especially for the Muslim community. Special Jumme ki Namaz is offered on Friday, which has a high place in Islamic rituals. A large number of people gather in mosques on the occasion of this special Jumme ki Namaz in Jammu and Kashmir, due to which a public holiday has been declared in the state. Therefore, banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kashmir on this day.
RBI Holidays Calendar
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the holiday calendar for various states, taking into account local festivals and days of cultural importance of the state. Here is the list of holidays in the coming days:
September 20 (Friday): Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the day after Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi.
September 21 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Kerala on the occasion of Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day.
September 22 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed in all states across the country as it will be a general weekly holiday.
September 23 (Monday): Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s birthday.
September 28 (Fourth Saturday): Banks are closed on the fourth Saturday of every month in all states across the country, and banks will remain closed on this day too.
September 29 (Sunday): Banks will remain closed in all states across the country.
