Bank Holiday on Eid E Milad: This time it is a long weekend. 14-15 September is Saturday and Sunday. After this, Eid-e-Milad will be celebrated across the country on 16 September. Eid-e-Milad is a government holiday. After this, Anant Chaturdashi is on 17 September. Now the question in the minds of the people is whether the banks will be closed on Monday i.e. 16 September or not. Although most of the banking work is done online nowadays. All kinds of services are available on the bank’s mobile app. Still, there are many works like taking a loan, for which one has to go to the bank branch. But if you go to the bank branch and it is closed? Your work will stop and time will also be wasted. To avoid this, you should know in advance when your bank is going to be closed. Banks are closed every Sunday and second and fourth Saturday of the month. Talking about this month i.e. September 2024, there are a total of 15 holidays in it. Let us know whether the banks will be closed on Eid or not.

Banks will remain closed here on Eid E Milad

Milad-un-Nabi/Eid-e Milad/Prophet Mohammad’s Birthday/Bara Wafat will be celebrated across the country on Monday, 16 September 2024. On this day, banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Manipur, Jammu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. After this, banks will remain closed in Sikkim and Chhattisgarh on Indrajatra/Eid-e Milad/Milad-un-Nabi on 17 September. After this, there is Pang-Lhabsol on 18 September, due to which banks will remain closed in Assam.

September 14: Karma Puja/First Onam (Kerala, Jharkhand) September 15: Sunday September 16: Milad-un-Nabi or Eid-e Milad (Birthday of Prophet Mohammed) (Bara Wafat) (Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad – Telangana, Manipur, Jammu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand) September 17: Indrajatra/Eid-e Milad (Milad-un-Nabi) (Sikkim, Chhattisgarh) September 18: Pang-Lhabsol (Assam) September 20: Eid-e Milad-ul-Nabi (Jammu, Srinagar) September 21: Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Day (Kerala) September 22: Sunday September 23: Birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji (Jammu, Srinagar) September 28: Fourth Saturday September 29: Sunday
