Greater Noida, September 17 (IANS). Any scheme launched in Yamuna Pradhikaran is becoming a hit continuously and the authority is getting more than double profit in revenue. Recently, the scheme of 45 plots launched for corporate office was also a huge hit. The authority has received a profit of 134 percent more than the bid price of these plots.
According to Yamuna Authority, the scheme for allotment of institutional plots was launched on July 11. A total of 45 plots of 1,000-1,000 square meters were included in it for corporate offices. Its e-auction was held on September 17. In this, the reserve price for each plot was fixed at Rs 2.50 crore. Thus, the total bid price for 45 plots was about Rs 112.50 crore.
The Authority said that for the bid price of Rs 112.50 crore, the Authority would receive an amount of Rs 265.14 crore which is Rs 152.64 crore (about 134 per cent) more than the total bid price.
CEO of Yamuna Authority Arun Veer Singh said that a total investment of about Rs 500 crore will be made in the projects for these plots and about 5,000 people will get employment after the projects start. This will give impetus to the development of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.
In this scheme, bids have been placed at a rate almost 12 times higher than the bid price of three plots of corporate office. For the coming time, Yamuna Authority is also coming up with a plan for residential and industrial plots soon. It is believed that the schemes will be launched during Navratri.
