Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority i.e. Yeida has started the construction of a ramp connecting Yamuna Expressway to Film City. This will ensure smooth connectivity between the International Film City to be built in Sector 21, Noida. The project being built by Yida is located at a distance of 26.4 km from the zero point of the expressway. According to the news, officials associated with the authority have given this information.
A total of four ramps will be constructed in the project
According to the news, interchange is being built on both sides of the road near Bhagpur village at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore. A total of four ramps are to be constructed in this project. Two of these ramps are being built in the first phase of the project. The remaining ramps will be constructed at this cost during the second phase. These ramps will enable easy contact and direct access to the proposed Film City. Giving information, the officials said that the descending ramp would be 673 meters long, and the ascending ramp would be 625 meters long. Both the three -lane interchange is expected to be completed within a year.
According to the Hindustan Times report, Yida Chief Executive Officer Arun Veer Singh said that the ramp is being constructed to ensure smooth contact till the Film City, which is currently not directly contact with the Yamuna Expressway. The underpass already built in Bhagpur will help further in uninterrupted traffic movement.
Yeida will provide two road connectivity
Yeida has also provided two road connectivity from 130 meters wide service road to facilitate the ongoing preparations on the site. Spread over 1,000 acres, the project will cover 230 acres in the first phase, which will cost Rs 1,510 crore over a period of eight years. Singh said that the construction of both the ramps is an important step towards increasing the connectivity of the sector and helping Film City to become a major creative and economic milestone in Uttar Pradesh.
A new city called New Agra Urban Center
After the Uttar Pradesh government approved the Master Plan-2031, Yida has intensified work on the New Agra project. The authority is going to settle a new city called New Agra Urban Center in Mathura and Agra. The proposed city to be developed on around 12,000 hectares will have a special focus on residential, industrial, commercial and tourism development.
