Lucknow/Greater Noida, 30 May (IANS). The Yogi government, which is moving towards fulfilling the dream of becoming a ‘one trillion dollar’ economy of the state by making Uttar Pradesh a ‘enterprise state’, has brought a new scheme to promote industrial activities in Greater Noida.
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority has started the process by considering the vision of CM Yogi as a mission. Under the scheme, a total of 40 industrial plots will be paved in various sectors including Ecotech, Industry Center and Udyog Vihar at Greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar.
Under this scheme, 450 to 8,000 square meters plots will be available for applicants seeking plots for the establishment of industrial units in Greater Noida. Their reserve price is scheduled between 28,600 to 33,950 per square meter.
The special thing is that the applicants applying under this scheme will be able to set up industrial units under 242 categories. At the same time, 27 categories of industries including distillery, petrochemicals, fertilizers will not be eligible for this scheme. Whereas, 5 types of industries including dye, bleaching can be approved to install industrial units on restrictive basis. Additionally, the bulk land allotment process for the establishment of a multi -model logistics park near Dadri under another scheme has also begun.
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority will establish incense sticks, handicraft products to electric components manufacturing units under them. The process of brochure download has started under this scheme. The last date for filing registration is 16 June, the last date for submission of EMD and processing fees on 18 June and the last date of final submission is 20 June.
Under the procedure, Ecotech-XI, Ecotech-3, Industry Center of Greater Noida is available for industrial plot allocation in Ecotech-XI, Ecotech-3, Ecotech-2, Udyog Vihar Extension, Ecotech-6 Block B and Ecotech-X. The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority has initiated the Bulk Land allotment process for the establishment of a multi -model logistics park near Dadri in Gautam Budh Nagar. The scheme has been introduced for this, under which the inter -model container terminal, cargo handling yard, mechanized warehouse, specialized cold storage, logistics and cargo terminal business, custom clearance, freight forwarding service and transportation will be established. The scheme has been brought for the establishment of these services at the plot number-1 of Sector Cupa-2. Under this, the way for the establishment of various facilities in 174.12 acres will be paved.
It is noteworthy that it is near Jewar Airport and is connected to the Eastern and Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, which ensures the best road and air connectivity.
The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority has set a land allotment rate of Rs 11,000 per square meter per square meter under the scheme for the establishment of Multi Model Logistics Park. Eligible units setting up logistics park here will get special benefits under the Multi Model Logistics Park (MMLP) Policy-2024. The process for installation has started here, which will continue till 23 June 2025. With the investment of 1,200 crores, only the developers who have 10 years of experience to work in the logistics sector will be eligible under the scheme.
