Churu News Desk!!! Sujangarh’s Sandwa police has arrested four people playing online betting. Police has recovered a register from them, in which an account of about Rs 2.80 crore was written.
Police station in-charge Kailash Chandra said that it was found that some people were betting on cricket at Bhatlai Tala near Sandwa by using IDs through online apps. On receiving the information, the police raided under the leadership of the police station in-charge and arrested bookies Shri Bhagwan Jat, Mukesh, Ramchandra and Sunil. The police have seized 12 mobile phones, a laptop and 9 ATM cards from the bookies.
Police station in-charge Kailash Chandra said that betting accounts worth Rs 2 crore 80 lakh 66 thousand 555 have been found from two registers and online apps found on the spot. Shri Bhagwan is a farmer caught in the betting operation. He also has a shop in Sandwa. Mukesh is a student who was preparing for competitive exams. Sunil is a professional fortune teller and hails from Udaipur. Ramchandra is also a shopkeeper in Sandwa.
