RTE Admission 2025: Application for Sessions 2025-26 under Right to Education (RTE) Act (Admission) The process has started. The Education Department has released a new advisory for parents, in which important guidelines related to the application process have been given.
New guideline implemented in school selection
This time parents will be allowed to apply only in identified private schools with a distance of one, three and maximum six kilometers from their home.
-The first one has to apply in schools within 1 kilometer from the first house.
If there is no school within 1 km, then you can apply in schools within 3 kilometers.
The application in schools up to 6 kilometers will be valid only when there is no school in 1 and 3 km.
-Application will be invalidated on applying to a school 6 km away.
Who will get the benefit of RTE?
Only those children whose annual income of the family is less than Rs 72,000.
It will be mandatory to upload all the necessary documents properly, otherwise the application can be canceled.
Education Department appeals to parents
The Education Department has appealed to the parents to complete the application process as soon as possible and follow all the rules. Any mistake in the application can cause problems in admission.
